Regulations

General

The Yak52 and Intermediate World Aerobatic Championships will be organised in accordance with the following regulations;

  1. FAI Sporting Code - General Section
  2. FAI Sporting Code - Section 6 Part 1, version 2014
  3. Aresti Catalogue (condensed) for Power Aerobatics
  4. Regulations issued by the Recreational Aviation Administration of South Africa RAASA
  5. South African Civil Aviation Authority regulations CAASA
  6. Local Regulations - published in Bulletin 2

Combined Operational Regulations

  1.  All briefings will take place together without separation between Yak52 and Intermediate contests
  2. Flight order will be determined by the drawing of lots without separation between Yak52 and Intermediate contests
  3. The selection of figures for the Free Unknown Programmes will take place separately between Yak52 and Intermediate contests and sequences determined separately for each contest. Flight orders will be determined jointly
  4. Contest results will be published separately for Yak52 and Intermediate contests
  5. Judging Analysis will be published separately for Yak52 and Intermediate
  6. National Teams will be combined for the purpose of the opening and closing ceremonies.
  7. Awards ceremonies will be held jointly
